Anyone know anything about Cooper Firearms ? We can't find much about them on t'interweb and their website is pretty spartan. From what we hear, they make / modify black guns with interchangeable uppers and receivers* so that they can be used with anything from .22LR up to 9mm Parabellum.

'twas this that drew our attention to them: http://www.GunStar.co.uk/Rifle/Colt-Ind ... 16503.aspx

* thinks those are the correct tekkernikkel terms

Looks like a retail company providing standard caliber AR platform uppers on a Colt lower....

Nothing special, nothing out of the ordinary and judging from what else they have for sale on the site, just starting out/struggling. One of their adverts is a photo of a magazine/internet advert.

I have seen and handled some in the past and they look well finished sporting firearms, they usually get good reviews in the the US gun comics like Rifle and Successful hunter. However their comics are going the way of GunMart and its other prostitute titles where the "journalists" are just advertising people now. So take from their reviews what you will.

Hmmm, we rather liked the idea of a rifle we could use on an indoor 25m gallery range. Perhaps we should look at alternatives...

Good luck with that one, but I reckon the old Shaving Brush is "set" in his ways. Cheap and from the East....
