Does anybody know of any full bore clubs and ranges within about 40 or 50 miles of Cardiff?

Severnside, There is a Tunnel at Monmouth, Swansea rifle club, There is a Tunnel in Barry, there are more too, some of the other Welsh members will be able to help better, I've been away 23 years now.

40 or 50 Miles from Cardiff is a pretty large area, probably about half of Wales and a quite a few of the border counties also. How about giving us an idea of the area where you are based and what exactly you are looking for, then perhaps someone can point you in the right direction of some of the clubs.

A bit more detail. I shoot at Bisley but a friend of mine lives in Cardiff, he’s come up for the Open Days a few times and loves them. He wants to take up shooting but Bisley is too far away. He’s enjoyed F/TR and service rifle (AR15 in particular) the most but did like 22 as well. He’s looking for a club that shoot full bore from 100 to 600 yards that have access to a range near Cardiff. Obviously the nearer the better, but he would travel for about an hour for a day’s shooting.

If anybody could point me towards a club that fits the bill that would be great.

If you get in touch with the NRA membership department they will forward you/your friends details onto appropriate clubs and the club will make contact with you/your friend. It is a service that works very well.
