Hi

Sure its been asked before but wanted a simple answer either way

Is 5 balls of .36 in a shotgun cartridge (000 gauge) Sec1 or shotgun ammo?

'This section applies to any ammunition for a firearm, except the following articles, namely:—
(a)cartridges containing five or more shot, none of which exceeds ·36 inch in diameter;'

Cheers

Rob

4 balls & .37 would be S.a
5 balls & .36 = S.2 - you answered your own question

...remember too, the law says "five or more shot" NOTHING about the shot all needing to be the same type/size ;)
