Did you go today? I was on Stickledown and short Siberia, we all had brakes on and we had a great time.
Loads of clubs cancelled due to a few flakes of snow and some persistent rain. Wusses!

There weren't many people on Stickledown, and it was rain more than snow this morning. We were the only people shooting on Melville, one club with all their Christmas stuff had packed up by 111:30! And they had cover at 25 yards.

nice to hear it.as usual just a few moaning making it bad for anybody else.

It was cold and damp but the main thing was 20mph wind and 40mph gusts were forecast.that was about the most limp I've ever seen the flags.the range office forgot to set up are targetry and we ended up with 2 roundals and an f class roundal which ment on our COF's we were shooting 4 shot groups.that is the best I've ever shot with both of my rifles.284 and a 6.5x47.shooting prone with a pod on.fingers under the butt for stability. A lot of my markers were overlapping/touching and groups that my stretched open had would of covered.not all in the middle of the target.i think if my groups were bigger I would of scored better.one group must of been half moa.the only groups we usually see is our siting group at the start of our COF.ive had some great groupings in the past but the consistency Sunday was for me stunning.

I do apologise Mike.
You didn't shoot twice at 1000yds but I would have beat you anyway
