Mine just has a 45 degree chamfer all round, my jams are from cases being slammed against the throat before they get fully seated into the bolt face,

Having looked at that with fresh eyes I've noticed something very alarming,

That shows the bolt being stopped by the feed ramp which should be under it!, I've just stripped and checked and it appears to be solid, there's nothing else anywhere in the bolt travel path apart from the top of the mag and as it's lifted a bullet it can't be that.

bolt should ride over fed ramp
That stoppage looks like extractor has not gone over rim of case. The green on my pdf show what may be stopping it. The factory chamfer on the bits I have the lines showing is just not enough to ensure reliable feeding.

Are your mags going in too far?
One of my cheapies from the far east has a habit of seating too deeply and missing the indent for the mag release. I always insert the mag and then give it a tug to ensure that its not seated too deeply.

Mags are fine, both Glock originals and it does it with both, not very often though and usually only the first round out of the mag. I've just double checked everything and managed to give the feed ramp lock screw an additional 1/8 turn but it seemed solid anyway.
I loaded 2 x 17 round mags and hand cycled each twice, I loaded one round, removed the mag and ejected it, then put the mag back in and did the same thing for each round, 68 rounds cycled without a problem.

Sporadically catching on the feed ramp...? Bolt not travelling in a straight line perhaps? Poor quality buffer spring?
One of the problems that have been had with piston driven AR's is the bolt not travelling in a straight line and the inside of uppers and buffer tubes being worn in the wrong place and/or damaged..... but that is in rearward bolt travel.

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

I'll have a look next time it jams a round and see if it's the ramp.
Normally looking at ejection port from that angle you can barely see the top of the ramp, that looks like it's a good 2 or 3mm higher than normal.

It still looks to me as though the mags are seating too deep.
Do you insert the mags with th bolt open?
If you stick them in with the bold closed does it make diffence. The bolt should stop the mag going right in and catching on the followe.
Just a though.
I have just had a quick peek at mine and the mag follower doesnt go anywhere near as high as yours. However mines over two yests old now and one of the early UZI mag models.

Mags are fitting fine, honestly smile2 I load with bolt open for safety so I can verify it's an empty chamber before releasing the bolt.
Looking at it now the follower (feed ramp) is fine, it's where it should be and can barely be seen looking through the port, def. under the bolt.
The pic is of a jam I got testing it at home and it had been to the range and jammed, after clearing it it then shot about 30 rounds so the ramp wasn't that far up or it would have jammed the bolt and not been able to fire at all.

Just to clarify that,
Took to range and jammed first round in, then cleared it and shot about 30 rounds with another 2 jams (I think).
Brought it home, stripped and lubed it all then hand cycled a couple of mag fulls and got a jam which is the pic.
