it's fine, skin stretches

The way I see it is each of my tattoos chronicals where I'm at at the time when its done...

if I'm young and wreckless now, when I'm older I can look down at my arms/legs/back wherever and think... I enjoyed those times - that was alot of fun...

Regret doesnt really factor into it... Do I wish I'd put more thought into some of them? yeah, maybe, but thats where i was at at the time... I'd like to think I've grown and learned between each tattoo!

and before anyone asks "what about when you're old and they start to sag" - well, the untattooed parts of me will be old and saggy too, so who cares?!
so who cares?![/
Oh! dear... believe me one day you will care. when you are too embarrassed to wear short sleeved shirts and in your case shorts as well. Don't think that's going to happen?........... Betcha it will.

I've heard it all before - My parents have never had tattoos and never want any - they don't see why I'm interested - so I've heard all the "yeah but what about when ur older, you'll regret them" - maybe I will and maybe I won't - but what happens if i get hit by a bus tomorow? what happens if i didnt do the things i wanted to do today for fear of what it may lead to down the line, if i died and it played my life on repeat for eternity, don't you think I'd regret more not doing what i wanted when I could?

Life is too short for regrets - if i don't like them when I'm older, then thats tough, its a choice i made that i'll have to live with, so be it, thats exactly what I'll do. I knew what i was getting myself into when i started getting inked.

Ah! the confidence of youth.

When I was 14 I couldn't believe how stupid my father was, then when I was 24 I couldn't believe how much he'd learnt in 10 years. ;)

Life is indeed too short for regrets and I have had my tats for almost 13 years and not one split second of regret there.

I know older generations they know better because they have been there and done that and can tell the younger generations what is right and what is wrong and what one will regret.

However it is all very individual. What is right for me may not be right for the next person.

Live and let live.

tats in the right places are hot.....what about dabbities, a better solution all round perhaps (only the Scots will know that one).

As long as they are tasteful then fine...although seeing 70 year old wrinklies in hot countries with arms tatooed llike Popeye is a scary sight.

Actually Chrystels wee tats are kinda hot where they are    back to my cocoa and bromide now..

Dabbities, you used to get them in Lucky Bags or was it some other sweetie. I remember the anchor was very popular.

The black eye has long gone, but though faded, sadly the tacky 'Tats' are still there..

On passing selection a group of us decided to get the same tat - the regimental badge. Fortunately i was number 3 and sobered up by the time it was my turn  I'm really happy that i did avoid the tatoo as it's created alot of trouble for mates who did get it.

Funiest tattoo story i ever heard was a guy who was despate to get a big William Wallace type on his back. Problem was that he went to a foreign artist who misinterpreted and he ended up with a poor tattoo of Mel Gibson!

Have to agree with those girls who get the tribal crap above their arse; it really does look common.
