Remington M91 supplied to the Russians then captured by the Germans who thoughtfully added an ersatz bayonet adaptor. One of the nicest Mosins I own.

Here is an unusual one.....
1900 Tula M91. Dodged all of the 1907 upgrades. No cross bolt in the finger groove. No sling escutcheons (factory at least). Original rear sight.

Rear sight ladder is rare. Not rare as in rarely found. More never, ever found.
Spent time somewhere. Rear sight and receiver stamped in foreignese (possibly Nepal). Handguard is from a dragoon and bolt parts include Remington pieces. Sling escutcheons in completely the wrong
place and added by a local dude with a chisel. Rifle in question is the lower of the two (upper is a Finn M91 to add a bit of sanity and to show the difference in rear sight ladders).
Forearm has holes which were added by Yeti hunters who needed a bipod.
Might have served somewhere during the Great War. Who knows.........
Sadly a deact but I couldn't resist.

Fascinating piece, got that "been there, shot that Yeti, got the T shirt" look to it, an interesting rifle indeed, deac or not. gunlike

This is my all original, Model of 1917 Remington, with a barrel date stamp of 9-18.
The sling is a modern repro!
