Any solicitors/ legal advisors?

Had a good experience with a gun shop or rifle maker? Found a good deal? Tell us about it. Had a bad experience, TELL THE GUN SHOP!

Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

Yes, the very best of luck to you. However I have to say I would have gone down the route suggested by SimG in the first instance.

If he has a business partner then the fact that he cannot be found is irrelevant, joint and several liability when it comes to partners....i.e one makes the other responsible and vice versa. Good luck with the claim, have you been on to Trading Standards yet...? Also why worry about upsetting anyone, you have been ripped off!

If the Guy ripped you off why give a chuff about him other people need to know who he is so he can not con some body else.
If his buisness goes down the pan good.

Good afternoon ladies and gents,

Latest update, my claim through the court has been uncontested and today I have applied for judgement, once I have this it will be transferred to the northern Irish system for enforcement (hopefully)

Alpha1 , whilst I have no qualms in naming the individual I have no intention of causing the forum owner or moderators any grief should said person start claiming I've libelled him, once I have the judgement , it will be a matter of fact and with the mods permission I'll put his name up. However should anyone be thinking of dealing with an individual or RFD in northern Ireland they are most welcome to pm me.

All the best phil

Good evening ladies and gents,

The labyrinthine wheels of justice and it's associated paperwork are slowly turning and the judgement is now in the process of being registered with the northern Irish system after which yet more paperwork will start the enforcement procedure.
Fingers crossed.

Cheers phil

Good evening Ladies and Gents,

A little more progress (though still slow) , judgement has now been registered with the Northern Irish court system and today the first stage of the enforcement process has requested.
More news when it occurs.
