re-

Not much different from what you did really ... It organised by the NTTC (Nouvelle Technique de Tir de Combat ) which is the European/Swiss child of the teaching of Jeff Cooper & Chuck Taylor. So it's a lot of "dynamic" shooting more than pure accuracy. Last year more than half of the students were Eastern European Law-Enforcement personel . Should be nice but it's gonna be cold

froggy, sounds like some folks I trained with a few times. Are they located near the Swiss/France border perchance? Trying to recall the name then, Point Break comes to mind, run by Swiss chaps. One lad, Philippe was first class, veins like steel cables, ex Swiss military..I did a Sig 550 course with him and also a one to one shotgun course with him when the other chap dropped out..no sitting down all day long!

If he's spawned from Chuck T then maybe same folks, I know CT did have a deal going on there but it fell apart, not privvy to details but they lost the right to affiliate to Chuck T. Probably using his stuff as you say.

The army range near Montreux is excellent, if you go there avoid the big lunches at MIGROS cos they don't half stop you getting up from the ground later on.  Get some photos and tell us ll about it mate.

Re- Chuck,

Sounds like Philippe Perroti maybe ? As far as I know (?) initially it was a Swiss officer Lieutenant Baeriswyl, ex student of C.Taylor that started a "European version" and made it adopted by the the Swiss army. Baeriswy & P.Perroti an ex French SF then developed the NTTC . Nowdays the Belgium army and part of the Bundeswehr & some French forces have also adopted the method. Some classes take place in France but the one I'll be attending one in the Czech Rep . It is mainly for current serving personel either in the military or law enforcement but the atmosphere is fantastic.
We are planning a family trip to the US next year and I already negociated 5 days in a shooting academy while my wife takes our boy to Disney ;) Hence my interest in your retex in Arizona.
