They'd do better, and sell more, if they made .22 versions of the Kriss Vector...

I had a play this week, is it any better than the s&w? Not in my hands, it must weigh at least twice what the smith does, I'm struggling to see why that's a positive.

It feels less like an airsoft gun than the smith but ill draw the line there.

I'll put some pictures up later.

Yes, they look and feel fantastic. Testing to follow.

Thanks both. It will be interesting to read peoples' thoughts on performance. I'm new to shooting and going through the process of getting a FAC. Mini Rifle is one of the things I'd like to take part in so an alternative to the S&W would be good to know more about.

hah! Interesting as it’s mostly the same body etc as an airsoft gun!

That’s no bad thing. They make great airsoft guns.

Sorry, referencing airsoft isn’t the right way.

It should have read “less plastic”

Still doesn’t change that it shoots well at 25m with blazer .22

Just seems to heavy for me, no Benefit that I can see to it being twice the weight

I had a go on one belonging to Shield on Sunday, very nicely made, decent trigger, all metal but too nose heavy for my liking. Overall weight was ok, but the barrel must have a heavy profile.

I prefer my short barrel CMMG, much nicer balance for me and the same quality metal construction. And for steels I wouldn't want anything heavier at the front.

yeah I thought the same picking one up, the M&P 15/22 is nicely balanced after you whack some metal on it, but the one i was looking at just felt like it was toe seeking.

nice that it can work with M&P mags and black dog, although the black dogs are so much easier to go in. for 1/3rd more, plus the ability to use full bore uppers? not a bad price i think

Because the vectors are awesome.

Everyone’s got an AR down the range these days....

I’m hearing it’s in the pipeline.

Please fill me in, what’s awesome about the vector?

I’ve no prior dealings with the vector do tell.
