Joining the Army, or the TA, might be a better option for these people.
As to killing animals, it should really only be done for pest control, food, or management. Shooting animals 'for sport', and chucking them away, is simply immoral.

Yesterday Ovenpaa came home with 2 pheasants and 2 partridges, they are at the moment hanging outside, in about a weeks time they will be breasted and cleaned and frozen down.
What the guns/beaters/pickerups are not taking home with them is put on the game wagon and taken to the game dealer, then sold to the public via various butchers. Not a lot of money in all that however nothing is chucked away.
When Ovenpaa is out shooting pigeons he takes them home with him and then they go in the freezer as well.
Don't believe everything Chris Packham and Countryfile tell you.
