Works out at 17p a round or thereabouts.........at least it does at the dealer I rang who inadvertently gave me the trade price then rapidly upped the price when he twigged it was for a retail sale.

The trade price will be sans vat so just over 20p a round then there will be whatever the carriage is on it which isn't cheap, then something to over heads so there is no money in selling such ammunition well not if you sell at the price I do but then I just stock it as a service to my customers.

European prices are very good, £160 a crate of 880 at Bold Action which is 18p each retail price, only works out that cheap with the favourable euro rate.

Tell me about it, I found a place in the Czech Republic that sells 880 round crates of Novosibirsk produced 54r tracer for €158 including tax.......

Is it possible to import ammunition from Europe if you have it sent to a UK RFD?, or is it a lot of hassle?.
