It's hard to justify that price now the AT is out in the wild, but thanks anyway.

Nothing to do with me -I don't know the seller from Adam!

I absolutely love it, although I may well be trading up to the AXMC (purely for the long action)
Was that ordered through Cheshire Gun room? was shown a picture over the week.

Ah yes you must be the person Richard at CGR was telling me about, he asked me to send him a picture to show you.

If you want to know anything specific just drop me a pm.

AWSM in 300 Win Mag, Bausch and Lomb 10 x 40 tactical scope. Shoots very well with 190, 200 and 220 grain SMKs, RE 22 powder. Not too bad on the recoil but rather unpleasant (Sorry !!!) for those laying next to me.

Mat

PS, hope the picture has uploaded, not too good with technology !!!!

As someone who shoots on a ridiculously tight budget I couldn't see what the fuss was all about........ until a member of our club let me have a go of his AI AX.
Now I'm in the "must have one" club. Hard to explain the attraction, refined, unbelievably accurate, it just felt worth all that money.
Now I need a good reason to convince the Wife why I really need one.

Middlebridge, if it is any consolation my AI was the first new rifle I ever owned and all these years later it is still going strong, looking good for it and should still be going in 100 years time, assuming our government have not chosen to have it melted down...

That's part of the problem, they don't depreciate much, if at all. I'd be in the market for a doer upper, but I doubt if many have accidentally set theirs on fire. smile2

Shooting in Cumbria on Saturday in the rain. Lots of rain.
So the AW was completely striped down for drying before returning to the gun room.
The strip down takes a couple of minutes. Reassembly takes longer because the bolts require torquing, but I can do this in under 10 mins without rushing, and with no loss of zero.
The close up shows how the receiver is permanently epoxy bonded to the frame and held in place with 4 bolts. Very strong
