Are we going to have a new thread for Bradley Arms????
Maybe we should have a poll to see who is the best AR builder and get it over with

Great idea - How about it Mods? Settle it once and for all - till the next time

Oh but we'd ned to polls. One for trade the other for personal..

Not if youve got a pretendy one though.
has anyone fired more than one make ??
My first was a Southern Gun Company one, it was one of early ones with a sand cast lower and a high top upper. In those days the SGC only offered a heavy fluted 20" DPMS barrel. The barrel was later chopped to 16" and re-profiled but the high top caused problems when trying to mount an optic far enough forward and the non reciprocating left hand cocking handle was ergonomically wrong for left shoulder shooting.
Years later I met Mark B at PR matches and then at CSR and I got him to build me a proper left hand cocking rifle. I could have Mark put me a new flat top upper instead but having seen somebody's sand cast lower fail when dropped I decided to go for a complete new rifle.
My SGC was sold on and is being used by another club member.

I have 3 of the main contenders but in different calibers and not all straight pull.
9mm SGC lever release dedicated receiver built like a battleship
22LR Lantac Raven great build few issues with the Armalon barrel when l first had it but was all sorted out so back up service was good
.223 Bradley Arms superb functionality and when l collected it from Mark spent a good couple of hours being shown various things around the workshop.
So all in all no quibbles with any of the above.

Got two of the above, might have to consider the lever release at some point. Will require a bit of selling off first, so not going to happen any time soon. I'd give the Bradley the edge on build quality over the Lantac, there is absolutely no play at all between the lower and upper on my Bradley .223

Not necessarily. The beauty of the AR platform is that it can be user upgraded fairly easily.
For example, when I bought my 5.56mm BAR-15 I was on a very tight budget, and bought a bare bones rifle with mil spec trigger, grip & buttstock for £1150 (this was about 5 years ago).
Over time as money allowed I upgraded (and fitted myself) the trigger, stock, grip and a few other bits.

Own 2 Bradleys, BAR15 and BAR22 both with Elcans on the roof.
Both perfectly capable of winning results.

So very few have shot more than 1 make or model ?
Ive shot a SGC 9mm ,CMMG in 22, Bremer in 22, SW MP ,SIG 522 ,and the Ruger SR 22 .
I expect a couple of these are 'pretendy'
