24" and less, a place to discuss all things handgun related, section 7.3. Long barrelled revolvers, long barrelled pistols and section 5. Overseas contributions are more than welcome.
So was there any answer on whether the gun has an internal hammer or is striker fired?
TBH both are irrelevant in some respect to me if either way the gun is Single Action Only. Having observed a few LBP matches now it seems almost essential that the guns can fire SA/DA as there are a number of occasions when a second stike on the round is required, and that seems common on all models. Obviously if you're not using the gun competitively its less of an issue.
Doesn't matter how it's mounted you just need to get used to using a red dot on a pistol. It is a different ball game all together. It "seems" to bounce more than iron. Obviously it doesn't it's just that recoil movement is more obvious.
I have a C-More Serendipity on mine but I've had it some years. Were I to start now I'd seriously consider a Shield or the like.
Hi Yes, I own a Sig P226 - Open sights but just fitted a Crimson Trace Green Laser. Will try it out tonight at the club. Plan to fit my Trajicon RMR to the Glock.
I am going to Tall Trees in Hartlepool on the 5th September (Metal Plate Shoot) if anyone wants a look at the Sig ?
