I got the Lee Autoprime XR as part of a press kit, had a look at it and sold it

Went and bought the RCBS Universal Hand Priming tool, superb bit of kit

Of course you could all ways use your press to prime your cases then you would not need the hand priming tool.

I don't have one fitted to the Breech Lock Classic Cast single stage (used for .308) but I do/did use the Lee priming system on the 4 Hole Classic Turret Press for 9mm.

You just prime on the down stroke whilst sizing the case two jobs in one pull of the handle.
I like to enjoy my re loading at a leasurly pace I dont need to krank primed cases out. I dont find it a faff on I find it to be a interesting part of the process. Any way I am of to the reloading room need fodder for the mas36 and the nagant oh yeah and the enfields,Hmm P14 as well guess this could be a long session.

Do you clean the primer pockets out between the size and prime stages?

I used to de-prime then use a pocket cleaner tool, now I just de-prime and shove them in the stainless tumbler for 3 to 4 hours, it does a better job

21st Century Shooting - that was who I was thinking of. Dunno where I got Shooting 360 from!

Anyway, Lee have no thumblevers left. They offered me a new XR half price plus shipping which will make it more expensive that buying in the UK. I'm not impressed.
