Re: 9mm Lever Release
Just to throw a spanner in the works.
I bought mne from SGC at the time of the controversy surrounding the status of the original guns.
I found Bob an his staff to very helpful, contrary to popular belief -)
My first port of call would be SGC.

Re: 9mm Lever Release
Sorted, got an email from SGC to ring them and get it booked in for production and then got an email this morning from Shooting Supplies, in stock, shipped next day to my RFD for £16 so will have it tomorrow :shakeshout:
More good news, my RFD only charges £15 to receive and transfer it for me
All I need now is the 9mm dies I ordered a week ago to turn up and I can load some ammo for it!

I look forward to hearing how your re loading works out, not everyone has found it easy with this gun. Be sure and update the other thread when you get some results,

1106 I hate you!!!
You have made change my mind again on the Mk6 9mm. I thought it looked like poo when I saw the first pictures but seeing the picture above I have to say that I do like the look of it.
Please post on how you get on with it as I really think I want one again.

It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!
Re: 9mm Lever Release
That fore end looks like the one I threw away, should you be interested in changing it read my thread http://www.full-bore.co.uk/viewtopic.ph ... 3&start=80
As mentioned in my thread I can not recommend the Samson fore ends highly enough -and they ship to the UK.
Shame the thread protector was missing, I have been tempted to buy a fake moderator to finish mine off - the type that fits over the barrel and under the fore end. Perhaps I will pick something up at one of the shows.
Look forward to seeing it on the range,
DM
EDIT:
can you post a picture of the magazine release? In SGC picture it looks a bit not quite right, how is it in real life?

Re: 9mm Lever Release

Very nice indeed. Now you need to get out and get a few rounds through it, they look like great fun and if it was not for the lack of suitable ranges in my area I would certainly be thinking about one.

Re: 9mm Lever Release
DM - I've read through the thread several times, in fact I was thinking of doing the same, better forend but with a real moderator, I'v egot the chance of a Wildcat Predator 12 but they don't do a 3/4" x 16 unf fitting. I asked the RFD today about getting one drilled out and threaded but he's have to buy a tap etc. and it's a one off so not cheap
I'll get it back out of the cabinet later and do a pic of the mag release for you smile2
Having sat and looked at it would it not be easier to turn down the barrel slightly and have it threaded with something more usueable like M18/1 or 15/1?, and if doing that the RFD could replace the barrel nut with a standard AR one at the same time so 2 jobs in one?
Ovenpaa, no chance of firing it until tomorrow if I'm lucky, I have to remove the hall, stairs and landing carpets/underlay as I'm getting new ones fitted Saturday, also need to shift all the furniture out of the living room which is not going to be easy as a. I have nowhere to put it! and b. I only have one fully working arm, duff knees/hips and left shoulder!. At this rate it may not get a test run until next Tuesday
