BTW "bombed up" - meaning fully loaded or ready to go - was in pretty common usage when I was in the Forces.
I was worried it might confuse Dromia, coz when he was in uniform they didn't have bombs: they'd just invented Ballistae (& he still uses the training on them to gauge how good his group sizes are to the nearest Scrupulum)
