Carlprem,
If you don't already goto
http://data.hodgdon.com/cartridge_load.asp
for up to Hodgdon data.
Ovenpaa,
What weight of bullet are you looking for a Subsonic round in 308? Hodgdon reccomends titegroup or clays for a 168 grain bullet. I've tried the titegroup loud and it works a treat.
They also have load for 150 grain bullet using trailboss - if experimenting, I would try trailboss first because it fills the case nicely and less chance of a double charge.

Probably 190 SMK's as they are the heaviest I have right now however that awfully nice Dromia chap was talking about some bespoke cast jobbies. It is only for giggles out to 200m and to see how quiet I can get the rifle and still be accurate with it.
Apologies for the thread hijack OP

Trailboss is an excellent powder for reduced loads because of it's density. It was actually envisaged as a blackpowder substitute originally!
At risk of getting Adam and Roger excited, have you considered cast "projectiles"?
Lee and Lyman have a number of reduced loads using this material.....

Are there any other kind?
You don't need to reduce loads for lead.

Found it very difficult to get M.O.A with the B.S.A. Hornet I had but did it eventually with 10g of H110 and CCI small pistol primer and 40g Speer SP.
5 thou off lands.
During testing had a one hole group with a flyer which opened it up to .5”
Cheers Rob.

If using 35gr Vmax, use H110. 12.3gr h110 with 35gr vmax gives about 3075 for me from a short 18"-ish barrel, and wicked accuracy (CZ527).
Lilgun is good but for the 35 it's a bit slow. Anything over 13gr is too much for the case.
