I know some people dont agree with deacts,but atleast this way they're not melted down and made into paperclips.

I started collecting with de-acts first as having an FAC under the age of 17 is a bit tedious.
The Bren at the moment remains in its case under my desk, it does however come out for talks, after dinner, schools etc etc.... Big believer in living history and showing the physical side of history,

plus it's pretty f'ing cool

Funny you should say that. The guy I lived with before I met Bnz had a Bren deact, (I paid for it actually :x ) He quite happily kept it on the dining room table in front of the living room window :o
