It could be any 'smiths with a manual lathe and a Bridgeport albeit it an old Series 1 CNC version by the look of it. Sum total of the investment is under 5k.

In some parts of the world hand made stuff made with less than high tech equipment is winning battles both in the street and in the field (dunno how theres a distinction there?). I saw their workshop on the tv, it looks like they had all the gear and all the ideas.....

Handmade takes on a whole new meaning. Not a micrometer in sight................I saw this going on in the 70's. There was a market with dozens of stalls along the main road that crosses into Pakistan from Afghanistan via the Khyber pass. Prospective customers were trying the firearms out, simply firing them into the surrounding hills.
