Magpul - US made
PTS - Chinese made, under license for airsoft use.

the magpul made stuff for airsoft is fine for rough plinking iron sights. I use a rear sight behind a red dot to help bring my head to the right place as there is a bit of movement paralax wise on the dot, and I found the front sight hid the target a bit too much

proper proper magpul sights still are not match sights, but are a better quality and have finer adjustment.

the chinese clones sometimes dont even adjust for windage

Considering there isn't a manufacturing license anymore even the PTS stuff is now fake. The PTS stuff was of varying quality regardless, depending on if you got original PTS or the copycat PTS.

Beware the cheap alternatives as they have a tendency to explode under heavy recoil, sometimes in under a dozen shots according to a couple of our customers.

Yep seen them come apart too. Some of them wont sit flat either when folded. The MBUS Pro are a better bet being metal with better adjustments and less slop.
Troy make some of the best backups but they are not cheap.

Do you stock the MBUS pro at Lantac?
And has my AR15 left the states yet?

We are back ordered over 400 semi autos right now that we have to get built before we can start with the UK straight pulls. Hoping to get into the UK builds in early March.
Think we have Pro's in stock, if not then they will be with the next Magpul shipment.

Does anyone know where you can get proper Magpul BUIS for the best price? Lantac seem to have the best price I've found but don't have the rear sight in stock (V2 FDE)? Everywhere else seems to want £40 for the front sight and £50-60 for the rear sight

I've found 3 different levels of them;

Complete knock-offs with no branding - I got a set for £5 from Ebay and as used as window dressing on my 15-22 until I can find genuine ones for less than £100 In fairness to them they actually have full adjustment and do hold zero. The front site however needs its post screwed almost completely out to get a 20m zero which looks ridiculous. The large/small flip up peephole sight is very loose and moves even under .22lr recoil.

Genuine Magpul PTS - £40-50. Full adjustment but the finishing isn't there. I also destroyed a set on a 12b shotgun with the recoil. The side flip up buttons also didn't work properly which I was a bit disappointed in to be honest.

Magpul - £70-£££! Much better/smoother finish, obviously fully functional and can absorb any amount of recoil (that I've thrown at them anyway)

Try some of the 'foreign' sites like FAB in Israel and there are some in Europe, CZ, Romania etc. but can't remember where exactly. Do some research. I saved loads buying a speed-holster from somewhere or other I can't remember aaarggh
