5744 is a well repected powder and to loose its name for just a rebrand doesn't make much advertising/product loyalty sense.
I'm sure they thought of that before they screwed everything up - NOT!

That should read "200gr Lyman-mould(ed) heads", i.e. heads made in a Lyman mould.
I've got some Viht 120 - how much would you use for a 200gr lead head? I've done some mucking about with 5744 but nothing conclusive.
Range: 300 yds.

He means BOOLITS.
Heads are at the bottom of the cartridge case!

It comes from the same factory in the Czeck Republic (is that how it's spelled).
Please note that 060 is not a complete designation for a Lovex powder.I use 060 02 in my 308 but I have never used
with cast bullets.I load 42.5 with 155 grains bullets as it gives good accuracy. It should be similar to VV 133 135.
It is extruded single base while AA 5744 was a double base.I think they are quite different in burning rate.
You can vist they web site search for Explosia (maker of Lovex powders)

D060 is what is shown on the current reloading booklet I obtained last week from the importer, Westlander.
I refer you also to the chart
http://www.explosia.cz/en/streliviny/dvouslozkove.htm
Which shows the suffix can
also be used.
Confused, so am I - luckily my tubs say 5744.
Sorry I cannot get the chart to show directly on this page.

Just found this link to the loading data where the powder is shown as D060
http://www.lhs-germany.de/uploads/media ... a_2011.pdf
If you look at the picture of all the powders next to last page the tub is shown marked as D060
The letter D refers to a double base powder.
