Indeed, makes me wonder how differentiation was made. It reminds me of "Kill them all and let God sort them out" or similar.

Very nice, stunning rifle!
Was it originally blued or browned, does it have the usual black powder erosion breech end, that nearly all Snider types suffer from ?
