Does it need to be steel or would a hard black anodised aluminium suffice? If there are enough people interested I can machine a run of say 12 units and be competitively priced.

Ovenpaa - you are welcome to come and see this item - I am in Herts so its not too much of a trek.
Probably best sooner rather than later - I imagine it would be best viewed before it is all assembled etc ?

Breacher, thank you for the offer however it looks to be a reasonably complex form so will take a bit more than a quick measure with a vernier and 6" rule however I am still curious about this. Do you have any pictures of the original bottom metal?

Afraid not - I sold the plasric mag and the plastic housing to help finance the conversion.

I have still got an old magazine housing that split if you want it and I am sure I still have some mags if you want to have a look and measure up. Give me a bell if you're interested.
