For anyone who has or is buying one I'd recommend something like these to replace the wing nuts as supplied with the tumbler,

Now that is a very good idea. I saw an image of one that had been fitted with those and can imagine they'd be a lot more comfortable on the fingers.

A 1/4" -20 female knob is not going to be a common item in the UK. Jon, would you be able to supply these as an option?

As opposed to a male knob. Female has a threaded hole in it.

Dromia - You will be telling me you have never heard of lady doughnuts next!

Jon, if you have no luck with sourcing the knobs I can soon make some.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the wing nuts supplied, however, whatever you do find to replace them make sure that they don't protrude outside the outer circumference of the drum and do not extend the overall height/length of the drum as it has the fit between the rollers on the drive base. If you do get any problems replace the new items with the supplied wing nuts. ;)

No I haven't, sounds a bit post modern to me. Are they genetically modified? Its not hot enough to grow doughnuts in the UK,

We may offer these as an option at some point.
