Gents, like Par...para,,parab..aw fek it! Maggot said, we are all in this together and all this sniping at each other isn't helping anybody, the original thread was blown out of recognition by people stubbornly putting there point forward and not taking a hint (on both sides of the argument) there was never really a need for a dedicated section or for a seperate forum,
however in this day and age another forum isn't a bad thing per se, as long as the members of it don't stew in their own juices in resentment to the original forum (been there,seen that, it didn't end particularly well )
a focused forum is a fine thing although it has to work hard to keep peoples attention.
having a sub-forum for a specialised interest would have many positive benefits, however trying to stuff it down admins throat isn't the way to get it, lines have been drawn and no-one wants to be the first to back down, I understand that, but eventually its going to sort itself out and having a hissy bitch-fight every time someone says the wrong thing isn't helping speed things along!
and deliberatly pouring petrol on the flames as has been done by both sides isn't helping either! how about everyone agree to live and let live?

Errr...OK. Bit subtle, I am sure Herr Goebbels would have got that, sadly I dont.

Poppet, I dont bother with 2-3 forums. This one is rapidly going to the dogs and the CSR-Shooter one is a necessity if you shoot CSR...and actually I quite like the folks on it, even the stroppy ones. When I started out there I asked all sorts of questions, rubbed loads of people up the wrong way, and still do clapclap I got a phone call from Bradders explaining why I was getting the wrong end of the stick and was warned very politely by another top bloke (DP) to edit one post where I admitted to cheating without realizing it (you will now see that markers watch out for us shooting more than the prescribed number of shots per exposure ....but I did not know that catching up was a "bad maggot" moment). So you see they do look after each other.

Another way to get yourself binned off of there is to hide your identity. Nobody likes a coward sniping from the shadows. If I had it my way you would register with your proper name, end off, but no, so if in doubt....Room 101. The CSR shooter forum succeeds because its a comms platform dedicated to active folk who compete against and support each other, even when they are p*** themselves laughing helping you out of a water filled ditch on Century. When you look at the newbies area there are loads who never then post and less still shoot a comp or training shoot, so they are sometimes got rid of. All of us come across differently to how we are in person, which is why its a bloody good job we do know each other sometimes. I know a handful of people from here, and most of them are CSR or SR shooters, a fair few have walked as well.

I thought long and hard about that bit of "Propaganda" because it was not my place to write it, but there it is.

On the propaganda front, give CSR a go, the vast majority take a few shoots to work out what the hell is going on but we all want folk to make it what it is, so everyone is looked after. You have to laugh, mostly at yourself
