They are imitations: they are not ARs which are gas operated full/semi auto rifles.
The 22 lr are SA.

Excellent for posing with and probably a substitute for viagra.
I fully understand getting turned-on by "Black" but not too sure it is really safe to have sex with your rifles Fred... Loadsa sharp'ish bits & knobs there ... ouch that front sight must hurt... wtf

huge magazines that these guys have with a sort of inserted section full of tiny .22s.
How a "tiny .22s" mag would fit in a mag well designed for the 223 lenght cartridge ?
They keep saying size does not matter but big mags are more pleasurable, arn't they ? :good:

The OP was to raise the issue of catering for a section of forum users that wish to discuss aspects of rifles styled in a modern military fashion post 1945 without walking on egg shells by not mentioning specific manufacturers. I have a Lantac, Bradley Arms and a SGC and each have their own positives and negatives can't see for the life of me why l can't discuss these with other forum users without stepping on toes.

I also have a VZ61, VZ58, Bulgarian Arsenal, Tigr and most recently a Saiga (7.62 x 39) and apart from the Lantac and VZ61 both in 22LR they are all obviously SP because of UK legislation but they are still working firearms. They may not be to the high criteria of as god intended but so what. There is obviously a division in opinion and the obvious solution is a separate section to cater for these spawn of the devil.

The forum has grown to the point that it shouldn't be treated as a private members club and should listen to its contributors. I have seen similar division with Committee Members in some of the clubs l have been a member of and left them as have others as they stopped listening to their members.

Fred
The rimfire AR evolved from a military trainer, the magazine size was kept to replicate everything as closely as possible to the full bore version.

Wood can be good...

Admins - I think you should have an AR section. It's clearly good for business judging on the number of posts posted.
