What Dark Skies said..................but it's unlikely that we'll hear the full story post trial, even.
Just the bits that suit the media/authorities purpose.

If they were sec58 then they don't need to go on an fac. But if what they say about manufacturing ammo is true and to the scale they say then he sounds like a wrongun.MistAgain wrote:While not seeking to defend this person in any way , we as shooters must be well aware of how the police and the media will play games with facts and figures to achieve the result that they want .
The prosecution talks of "recoveries were of pre-war handguns for which there was no commercially available ammunition" . I would ask , pre what war ?
It was also said that he was a "licensed or registered firearms dealer who is permitted to possess handguns as well as rifles and shotguns." Does this mean he was a section 5 dealer ?
And there is the claim that "Edmunds had imported hundreds of guns from the United States without putting them on his Firearms Register" . This suggests that the high levels of freight and parcelscanning that is supposed to take place both in the USA and UK is almost non existant .
I think there is a lot more to this story , and the only way we might get the real facts is by spending time in court .
Although it does make me wonder if he was making lots of dodgy ammo, why didn't he replace hi dies every so often?
