Gloves

I wear a pair of original Leather/Nomex US Flight gloves when out walking or shooting, they keep me warm whilst moving and the long cuffs stop any draughts. Downside is they are not even remotely waterproof and once wet my hands chill down very quickly so can anyone recommend a pair of fairly long well fitted thin gloves suitable shooting that are waterproof or at least water resistant.

I use MacWet.

Neoprene and suede. very thin and tactile grip which means you can feel everything.

On my second pair. they're not necessarily completely waterproof, but they do a good job against the elements.

Another Sealskinz fan here, great practical gloves. I also recommend Laksens which are a bit more stylish if you worry about that kind of thing :-)

I use cold weather golf gloves. They keep your hands warm, and they give great touchy-feely when you need it!

I use the sealskins shooting gloves. Waterproof material with leather grips and the index finger & thumb can be flipped back to expose the tips. Great purchase.
