I think you mean seating the bullet don't you. For 38/357 I use a de capper I made my self it works on the same principle as a LeWilson neck die used with a arbor press. I use a old style of Lee hand priming tool to seat primes. I could not get away with the newer version. I also like to use the Lee loader with the arbor press its so much more relaxing than faffing with a bench mounted press. I don't do volume re loading I like to take my time and savour the experience. Cost I all ready had the arbor press I use it for most of my reloading . The Lee loader probably £25 the 38/357 holder the case is sat in nothing it came out of my scrap bin.

Alpha, I really like the idea of the arbor press for normal reloading and have thought about the LE Wilson one for a long time. At this point I think I'm too invested in conventional press dies to warrant investigating.

Well yes I can understand that. Most people invest in a bench mounted press of some sort when they first start reloading. Most people will full length resize and want to build rifle ammunition as quickly as possible so they can go shooting. Pistol calibre is easier to churn out progressive presses chuck ammo out like god bless you. I have been there wore the T shirt I have bench mounted presses and all the whistle and bells that go with them. But what I have discovered over the years is that I quite like loading ammunition I find it therapeutic Its fun and I really enjoy it. So I have moved away from the pull the lever and every 5 minutes a loaded round fall out of the press. I bought a LeWilson .308 neck die a seating die and a arbor press. I was hooked the possibilities are endless.I'm not into long range shooting I don't have access to ranges to make it viable.
I'm never going to shoot bench rest or F class. My passion is military rifles I am interested in cast boolit shooting I shoot under levers in 38/357.
All my reloading is done while I'm sat in my comfy chair in front of my computer using all the bits I have either bought and modified or made my self.
