I regret to write that Border Barrels are no longer the agents for IOR.

This website may or may not be able to help:

Buy a Meopta and save yourself a pile of cash.

I thank you all for your input. I am overwhelmed by your replies. I am leaning to wards a Leupold only problem is I really do not know and I mean I really do not know any thing about rifle scopes. I have owned and shot milsurp rifles all my life I know nothing about black rifles. F Cass Bench rest etc.
There has been a suggestion in another forum post about a S class type comp next year. It interests me but I repeat I know nothing about scopes so I would like to ask some questions if that is OK.

I have been trawling the net the only riflescope I own that is worth mounting on a rifle is the Khales that came with the Steyr SSG P1 I was considering taking it off and purchasing a new one to shoot this S Class thing but like I said I know nothing about scopes/optics.
Some interesting comments on some of the other forums makes me wonder if it is worth it.

Good scope, solid made to take a beating. The BDC cam should have a two or three character's/letters on the side. If it doesn't, then it's a cam for the 7.62x51 NATO bullet (i.e. 145 to 150-gr FMJ), if it is labeled "MH", then it's for the Hirtenberger Match 168-gr bullet, and very close to the 168-gr SMK ballistics. Those are the two I have on my ZF-95's which have centered reticles. I also have a cam for 5.56x45 62-gr, but I can't remember what it's labeled? If you didn't get the manual with your scope, I can photo copy mine for you which is a combo ZF-84/95 manual. It's nothing fancy, just three folded pages with spec.s, and how to adjust the turrets.

I had a ZF-95 6x42 with MilDot, but sold it. I also had a Swarovski labeled ZF-84 6x42 with STANAG mounts on an HK91 years ago. Now I just have the ZF-95 10x42 models, with one having Target Turrets (1/4 moa) and MilDot reticle. It's mounted on my 5R/308, and I use it out to 1000-yards almost every weekend. Great scopes!

I need to check mine to see how its marked up but I have a feeling its set up for the .308 150 grain bullet. The guy I got the SSG from had used it Competitively it came with two ten round mags marked up A and B and two five round mags marked up A and B. Now I think about it there was also a load of reloading data when I bought it it was in a custom made gun case with all the original paper work factory group targets etc. I shoved the gun case in the loft I think I need to go take a look.

No they can't. IOR no longer has a UK dealer due to reliability and after sales service issues.

I know they aren't (Border) but they will still get you one. Reliability issuses are with the first generation as I understand it. Sounding like a wind up anyway. You managed to buy a decent rifle yet know nothing about scopes! Smoke blow and a.r.!.e. come to mind. An you have 1333 posts duh! wtf.
